no day but today...

The Broadway tour of RENT was in Los Angeles last week and i did my part and got tickets. They were nosebleed seats but that was ok. I've seen the show before but never with some of the original cast members. Anthony Rapp as Mark, and Adam Pascal as Roger. As soon as the performance ended, i headed for the stage door and tried to get an autograph or photo and no one came out. The performance was amazing though. It is just the way i remember listening to it so many years ago. La Vie Boheme is my favorite song in the entire musical and it was great hearing Anothony Rapp sing it out!

I was bummed I didnt get to meet the cast so Brian made the suggestion to find where they were performing next and go to that show. Lucky for us, they were in San Diego next!!!

bought my tickets and headed down there. we got there a bit early and decided to stand by the stage door and see if we could catch anyone going into the theatre.... so glad we did!!

We saw Adam Pascal walking around the corner and he was soooo kind and paused for a quick photo op...




We also saw Anthony Rapp but he was in a hurry to get inside the theatre so we weren't able to get a snapshot with him. We did talk to him as he was walking though. I have a mini crush on him :)

it was a good day!
