what NOT to do
Today I was applying for jobs... yes i need a full time day job to help support my part time night job. So i love to work, give it a rest already!
One of the descriptions for the job was 'excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation'
it's late at night and i know that typing up my cover letter is not going to be easy, so i jotted down some quick ideas then proceeded to save it as a draft. can you see where i'm going with this??
yup, it was sent to the employer. what was the worst part about it??? this line: my grammer, spelling, and puncuation are exceptionl.
EXCEPTIONL... cute right?? i look like the worst person for the job!!!!!
Lesson Learned: DO NOT APPLY FOR JOBS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN YOU ARE TIRED AND SLEEPY AND KNOW NOT WHAT YOU DO.
